In this artwork derived from my Master’s research thesis: Beit Beirut: a place of memory-(ies): the mission of a symbolic museum, I used the photo collage medium to play with the layers of time and memory, questioning the purpose of a symbolic building converted into a museum.

Presented through an art installation, the various collages reflect the multiple lives of the building and the repercussions of intended or unintended architectural transformations on the meaning of a place.
